SERVICE 04

A plan a writer can actually execute — yours or ours.

Budget for writing without a map produces content commissioned one article at a time, with no structure connecting the pieces. We build the keyword map and editorial plan first — the thing that turns 'write us some blog posts' into a system.

from €890

A keyword map sketched on paper, sticky notes marking priority — the actual planning desk, not a dashboard screenshot.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • Marketers with budget approved for content but no clear list of what to write next, or why.
  • Teams who've commissioned articles ad hoc for a year and can't say which ones actually moved anything.
  • In-house writers or agencies who need a structured brief to execute against, not a topic idea.

The complaint that starts before the first article does.

'We blog but nothing happens' is rarely a writing-quality problem — it's usually a structure problem that shows up as a writing complaint. Articles get commissioned one at a time, chasing whatever topic seemed relevant that week, with no map of which keywords are worth targeting, how pages should link to each other, or which gaps in the site are actually costing traffic. The fix isn't a better article. It's a plan built before the first brief is written.

WHAT YOU GET

Every plan ships with:

  1. A keyword map grouped by topic and search intent, prioritized by opportunity, not just volume.

  2. An editorial plan sequencing what to publish first and why, based on the map.

  3. Brief templates structured the way our own writers use them — specific enough for an in-house writer, a freelancer, or this studio to execute without guessing.

  4. An internal-linking map connecting new content to existing pages, so authority compounds instead of scattering.

  5. On Editorial Retainer: the plan revisited monthly against what's actually ranking, not set once and left static.

HOW IT WORKS

Audit, map, plan, handoff.

  1. 01

    Audit

We review your existing content, rankings, and the gaps between what you rank for and what your competitors do. What you'll have by this point: a short findings note — where you're losing ground and why.

  2. 02

    Map

Keyword research grouped by topic and intent, prioritized against actual opportunity. What you'll have by this point: a keyword map you could hand to any writer and get a sensible brief back.

  3. 03

    Plan

A sequenced editorial plan and brief templates built from the map. What you'll have by this point: a prioritized publishing order and a repeatable brief format.

  4. 04

    Handoff

Delivered as a working document, plus a short walkthrough note on how to use it. What you'll have by this point: a plan that survives without us in the room — or an easy on-ramp into SEO Blog & Article Writing if you want us to execute it too.

A content brief, before and after

Before

Write a blog post about email marketing best practices for our audience. Should be SEO-friendly and around 1000 words.

After

Target: ‘email marketing automation for ecommerce’ (720 searches/mo, buyer-intent). Reader: a Shopify merchant who’s set up one welcome flow and stalled. Angle we’re not seeing in the top 10: what to automate second, after the welcome flow — most competitors stop there. Structure: 4 automations, ranked by revenue impact, with the trigger and one metric each. 900–1,100 words. Internal link to /email-templates/.

What changed: Replaced a topic instruction with a target keyword, a reader, a competitive gap, and a structure a writer can actually execute against — the difference between a topic list and a brief.

Frequently asked questions

Do you write the articles too, or just the plan?

Just the plan, on this service — though the brief templates are built to hand straight to SEO Blog & Article Writing if you want us to execute what we planned.

What if we don't have Search Console or analytics access to give you?

Not required. We can still build a solid keyword map from competitive and search data; analytics access sharpens the prioritization but doesn’t gate the work.

Can our in-house writer use these briefs, not just your studio?

Yes — that's the point of the template format. It's built to be specific enough for any competent writer to execute, not just us.

How is the Editorial Retainer different from just buying Strategy Sprint once?

Search results move. The retainer revisits the plan monthly against what’s actually ranking, instead of leaving a plan built in month one to go stale by month six.

Does this replace content strategy work we’ve already had done elsewhere?

It can — send us what exists and we'll tell you honestly whether it needs a rebuild or just a refresh, rather than redoing work that's still good.
